Here's a note from my friend Tina ... inspiring I thought :) To Wait And Be Sure You wait for a word of comfort and reassurance from one you love...Nothing in life is worse or more lonely than this waiting. And yet, paradoxically, nothing is more strengthening. Because within every silence in our lives there is a growing. You love, and in loving, you learn. All of your love is not sent forth in vain even if it seems, on the surface of things, that there is no love given back in return. This same love that you feel for another is a shield and a salvation. So let your love, your love that waits patiently on each passing hour, fill up all the empty spaces around you and blaze an aurora borealis across your midnight sky. Let it warm its way into the hearts of those near you as you take this immense love you are feeling and with gentle hands, offer it on the altar of our day. You will at once find yourself surrounded by a fortress of courage and peace. Don’t you know that even now, in your sorrow, you are held in the arms of a love greater than anything you could ever imagine? You and I, all of us, are part of a great family, and each time we reach out in love to another, we enlarge this sense of family, until one day we will see our family to be as large as it actually is – as infinite as the universe. When we love this person or that person, all we are really doing is waking up a little bit more to the love that is everywhere, the love that is our divine and abundant heritage. So do not feel a sadness in these times of your silence and waiting; feel instead a sureness that all the love in the universe is already yours – to express, share, and rejoice in – and nothing can ever take it away.
