Holiday Entertaining 2008

Christmas break is scheduled to end tomorrow, although it was originally supposed to end today but for some reason the school districts decided they needed one more day. I'm thinking a week or two might be a good idea, not sure what they got done in one day that they couldn't have accomplished over the past two weeks since this snow started, but ... for whatever reason the word is the school is back on tomorrow. Skip went back to work today and was smiling when he went ... guess he finally got enough time off to truly relax and realize he enjoys his job. Here are pictures taken during the holidays. Ashley visited for 2 days with her raspberry hair and stylin' new glasses. Demetri visited for 7 days and all three dedicated gamers spent the approx 105 hours (i.e. x 15 hr/day) playing computer games in the cockpit, as I'm referring to our office these days. Five computer screens in a one hundred square foot area definitely qualifies. The snow continues to pile up and Pippy has decided after one swat that she will remain within the virtual boundaries of the yard rather than roam the neighborhood. She is content to be guard-dog-on-duty at the top of the snowpile. Unfortunately now that she has traveled up and down several times on both sides, loose neighborhood dogs feel like it is justified for them to travel the same path to visit the INSIDE of our yard. Life is good :)

Here they are playing some kind of spinning boxer toy thing ... and giggling like crazy ... Here they are happily working ... shoveling the walkways for the 1,000,000,000th time, with Pippy nipping to keep them focused.
